Located next to Fukuoka City which is one of the most popular cities on Kyushu Island, Itamochi is a peaceful residential area in Itoshima city surrounded by nature.
Itamochi Tea House has a very special tea ceremony room which has been replicated after the rustic style of “Sen no Rikyu” , the greatest tea master in Japanese history.
Itamochi Tea House is a traditional Japanese
wooden flat house with a roof made from Kokerabuki (thin wooden shingles) technique which has
been passed down since ancient times in Japan.
It is approximately 200㎡and has seven separate
rooms with different sizes.
Itamochi Tea House has a very special tea ceremony room which has been replicated after the rustic style of “Sen no Rikyu” , the greatest tea master in Japanese history.
The tranquil and serene atmosphere of the Tea House is suitable for hosting events such as art exhibitions, tea ceremonies, and academic seminars.
